£28-£30k per annum DOE

We are looking for a FACILITIES ASSISTANT to join our client on Portland on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be flexible, well presented, have an eye for detail, good time management skills and a can-do attitude. For this position you will need a general maintenance skill set and a full clean driving licence.

You will be expected to assist in the set up and breakdown of weddings and events and carry out any routine maintenance within the grounds. The type of work across the estate varies so the ability to work confidently on your own or as part of a team is essential.

Main responsibilities:

• Day to day maintenance across the estate including basic repair and replacement
• Grass cutting & hedge trimming
• Work alongside the housekeeping team to deliver urgent maintenance requests on the same day
• Assist the events team with set up and break down of events as and when required
• Covering the on-call phone when required as per rota provided

What we need from you:

• CV showing relevant experience
• Relevant certificates/licences
• Full clean UK driving licence
