What you will do:

- Develop and manage the Peer Mentor service, focusing on social inclusion while promoting the service across Lincolnshire.
- Recruit, train, and supervise peer mentors, providing the necessary guidance and support.
- Work alongside a team of practitioners to deliver Personal Well Being Services to adult male prison leavers and those on community orders.
- Manage a diverse caseload, conducting comprehensive assessments, creating collaborative action plans, and ensuring meticulous record keeping.
- Establish cooperative relationships with partner agencies and probation staff, adhering to targets set by our organisation and local commissioners.
- Travel throughout the county to meet service users in custody and upon release, with occasional evening work and required training at our head office.

Principal Accountabilities include:

- Performing risk assessments and formulating action plans.
- Facilitating one-on-one and group sessions to deliver effective interventions.
- Building integrated service knowledge and promoting service objectives within relevant communities.
- Championing the role of peer mentors and supporting their ongoing development.
- Ensuring quality standards are maintained and safeguarding measures are in place with timely reporting of any concerns.

- A relevant qualification in criminal justice or social care, or experience in a similar role.
- Desirable qualifications in advice & guidance, counselling, or PTLLS.
