What you will do:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate programmes of care for patients in an often fast-paced setting.
- Deliver superior care in accordance with the current ward philosophy, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and satisfaction.
- Adhere to established procedures and policies while helping new staff members develop their competence.
- Act as a clinical supervisor and preceptor, nurturing the skills of both experienced and newer nursing staff.
- Assist new staff with their orientation and induction programmes to ensure a smooth transition into the team.
- Manage the total care of a group of patients, ensuring effective communication with the multi-disciplinary team.
Must be a registered nurse with strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to prioritise and manage workload under pressure, and work both independently and as part of a team within your scope of experience.
