Job Title: Night Hygiene Team Leader
Location: Cross Hands, South Wales
Type: Full-time (Permanent)
Salary: £15.25 per hour, 40 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 5-on 2-off - weekends included, 9pm to 5am
Job Purpose: The Team Leader is accountable for achieving the given standards for hygiene for his/her area and has responsibility for the activities of their Hygiene Operatives. He/she is required to manage and control the cleaning of the factory to achieve the given targets, to the correct specifications and quality.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of a hygiene team, this will include organising your team and checking on the quality of cleaning completed by the team.
- Ensure that all health and safety procedures are being followed by the team.
- Ensuring that reports are filled in correctly and sent off daily.
- Working alongside other departments to ensure that the task is completed correctly.
Qualifications:
- Have strong communication skills, both verbal and written in English is essential in this role, as is the ability to operate computers and computer software.
- Have a clear understanding of food hygiene, food safety, HACCP, health and safety and quality systems.
- Strong people management skills with the ability to drive performance and develop the team
- Possess excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan workloads effectively to meet deadlines.
- Be able to demonstrate Leadership skills, be confident, committed, and able to accept responsibility.
- Be able to develop effective working relationships with all departments.
- Passed experience as a team leader or supervisor.
- Passed experience with working in a Hygiene environment (Factory would be ideal).
- Must have some knowledge of IT.
- Must be able to speak and write in English.
- Must be prepared to work weekend shifts.
