What you will do:

- Hold and manage a complex and varied caseload, providing guidance and support in line with policies and legislation.
- Undertake work within legislative frameworks, preparing reports and court representations as necessary.
- Make complex decisions and manage risks within your caseload, utilising professional judgement and evidence-based tools.
- Communicate effectively in complex or high-risk situations to ensure clarity and resolution.
- Actively participate and represent the department in multidisciplinary forums, sometimes taking on the role of Chair.
- Collaborate with service users, carers, and families, facilitating interagency safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Conduct assessments, plan individual support plans, and coordinate responses to meet individual needs.
- Monitor financial and service standards, ensuring services are within budget and meet identified needs.
