In this role, you will contribute to the effective delivery of Adult Social Care Services. Your efforts will aid in safeguarding, support planning, and promoting the wellbeing of adults with care and support needs, all while consistently improving outcomes.

What you will do:

- Hold and manage a complex and varied caseload with supervision and guidance.
- Undertake work within legislative frameworks, preparing reports and representations for Court hearings.
- Make accountable decisions and manage risks associated with caseloads.
- Communicate effectively in complex or high-risk situations, representing the department in various forums.
- Conduct direct work with service users, carers, and families according to safeguarding protocols.
- Develop and implement individual support plans through assessments.
- Ensure effective monitoring and review of support plans.
- Collaborate with Social Care Assessors and allied health professionals.
- Lead safeguarding enquiries and ensure timely completion and documentation.
- Adhere to Data Protection Act ensuring client information is handled appropriately.

Essential Qualifications:
- Dip SW, BA, or MA in Social Work (or be due to qualify shortly).
- Registration with Social Work England (or eligibility for registration soon).

Preferred Experience:
- Experience with Community Care Legislation and completing assessments and support plans.
- Experience with financial considerations linked to case handling and service delivery to multicultural populations is advantageous.
