What you will do:
- Lead and manage a dedicated team of social workers within the Cared For Children and Leaving Care Team.
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality services and ensure compliance with statutory requirements and best practices.
- Develop and implement care plans to meet the individual needs of children and young people.
- Provide guidance, support, and supervision to team members to ensure effective service delivery.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and partner agencies to facilitate positive outcomes for children and families.
- Analyze and monitor the team's performance, implementing improvements where necessary.

Key Requirements:
- A degree or equivalent in social work is essential.
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Extensive frontline experience in UK Social Services as a qualified social worker.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Strong understanding of legislation and policies related to cared for children and leaving care services.
