Locum Job Description for Social Work Advanced Practitioner - Duty & Assessment Team in Barnet (UK)
Are you an experienced Social Work Advanced Practitioner with a keen eye for detail and a passion for duty and assessment? Barnet is on the lookout for a skilled individual to join their dynamic Duty & Assessment Team for a 3-month locum position. This full-time role offers an attractive hourly rate of £37.54. Act quickly and take advantage of this exciting opportunity which also allows for hybrid working, where you will work 1-2 times a week in the office except every 4th week, when you will be fully office-based for duty week.

What you will do:
- Conduct thorough duty assessments, swiftly identifying the needs of children and families to ensure safety and compliance with statutory duties.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop effective care plans that meet individual needs and promote positive outcomes.
- Guide and support less experienced team members to enhance their skills and ability to assess and manage risk efficiently.
- Engage with children, families, and carers in a professional manner to effectively gather information, gain trust, and ensure the child’s voice is heard and embedded in decision-making.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with departmental policies and procedures to ensure information is appropriately shared and accessible.
