Locum Social Worker - Family Safeguarding Team in Cambridgeshire, earning £38 per hour umbrella. What you will do:
- Complete statutory visits for Children in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Children in Care (CIC)
- Chair CIN and Core Group Meetings, ensuring effective planning and support
- Manage a caseload of CIN, CP, and CIC cases, including those in Public Law Outline (PLO) or Section 31 care proceedings
- Prepare detailed court reports, conduct risk assessments and parenting assessments
- Attend court with support from senior practitioners or team managers
- Participate in duty rota to provide consistent support
- Attend Initial Child Protection Conferences (ICPC) and Review Child Protection Conferences (RCPC)
- Write comprehensive conference reports and manage risk assessments

Requirements of the Social Worker:
You must have a degree or equivalent in social work and current registration with Social Work England. Significant frontline experience in UK social services as a qualified Social Worker is essential to thrive in this role.
