Main purpose of the job:
You will contribute to the delivery of an effective Adult Social Care service, ensuring that your approach is both efficient and impactful. You will oversee, supervise, and support a small team of social care staff, championing best practice through mentoring and training. Your role will involve providing oversight and professional advice, managing a complex caseload, and addressing complex situations with skill and confidence. With your support, the team will empower Medway residents by promoting independence, offering holistic and person-centred strength-based assessments and interventions. You will also play a pivotal role in implementing our quality assurance framework, actively engaging in audit activities to drive service improvements.

What you will do:
- Provide professional supervision, coaching, and guidance to a team of social care staff.
- Maintain and manage a complex caseload with a focus on high-risk situations ensuring welfare and safeguarding are priorities.
- Lead the delivery of a person-centred service that promotes independence and early intervention.
- Collaborate with senior colleagues and team managers to enhance service delivery and drive improvements.
- Engage in quality assurance activities, ensuring compliance with standards and identifying areas for development.
- Deliver training and mentoring to support the professional growth of team members.
