Key Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision and leadership to social work staff, supporting effective caseload management.

  • Ensure high-quality delivery of care in line with statutory responsibilities, including Care Act assessments, personal budgets, and s117 aftercare.

  • Act as a Safeguarding Adults Manager (SAM), overseeing the investigation and resolution of safeguarding concerns.

  • Maintain a small caseload of complex clinical work, promoting recovery-oriented approaches.

  • Fulfil duties as an AMHP, contributing to the central AMHP rota in line with legal and ethical standards.

  • Chair and facilitate team meetings, fostering collaborative decision-making.

  • Promote positive outcomes for service users through integrated care and multi-agency partnership working.

  • Take part in supervision, audits, and service development while maintaining up-to-date professional registration.
