Live-in Support Worker Adult Learning Disabilities (6 Weeks On/6 Weeks Off) in Guernsey

Applications are invited from dedicated and enthusiastic Band 4 Support Workers to join the Live-in Community Living team, within the Adult Disabilities Services on the beautiful Island of Guernsey, in the Channel Islands.
This role is paid at £300 per day, typically working a six weeks on/six weeks off rota which equates to approx £55,000 annually.
You will work in pairs with another Support Worker and generally share the accommodation with the Service User you both support on a live-in basis.
Flights/ferry is paid on and off-island for each rotation but accommodation during your off-time is not provided.
You will be required to hold; an NVQ Level 3 qualification, a current driving licence and have at least three years experience in a Learning Disabilities setting, including managing behaviours that challenge.

The Adult Disabilities Service supports people with learning disability and autism, with complex needs, including behaviours that challenge. The Service supports people in a variety of settings. These include residential homes, a short-break service, supported living and outreach. There is also a brand new purpose-built autism hub.
The island of Guernsey is in the Channel Islands and has a population of 65,000. It has some of the British Isles' finest and best-kept beaches, a mild and sunny climate, and an offbeat, historic harbor town in St. Peter's Port, the island's capital.
Person Requirements:
At least three years experience as a Support Worker in a Learning Disabilities setting.
An NVQ3 (or equivalent) qualification
Right to work in the UK or Guernsey (not requiring a new employer sponsorship)
To hold a current, full UK driving licence
