What you will do:
- Provide clinical leadership and line management to a team of mental health practitioners in the community
- Communicate, motivate, and empower the team towards achieving the vision and objectives aligned with Guernsey Mental Health Services
- Ensure safe practice in accordance with the Care Quality Framework and professional standards
- Develop a culture of high professional standards in delivering evidence-based assessment and interventions
- Coordinate recovery and rehabilitation services for service users with complex mental health needs
- Ensure comprehensive risk assessments and management plans are up to date and effectively executed
- Promote service user involvement in planning and delivering services, respecting their wishes and dignity
- Enrich the learning environment by acting as a mentor and preceptor, supporting the professional growth of students and staff
This role requires a registered mental health professional with significant experience in mental health services. You should have strong leadership qualities and the ability to deliver innovative, community-focused care initiatives. Your ability to support and develop your team will be key to achieving the high standards expected in our services.
