What you will do:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders resulting from a variety of causes.

  • Provide highly specialised input for patients with complex needs, ensuring personalised and effective care.

  • Participate in clinical triage rota, making informed decisions on complex referrals to ensure appropriate patient care.

  • Work with patients requiring complex rehabilitation following strokes and brain injuries; this will involve clinic sessions, home visits, care home support, and may include video consultations.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care plans.

  • Contribute to the development of innovative treatment approaches and programmes.


Requirements:

  • Current HCPC registration required.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting is essential.

  • A driving licence is preferable for this role due to the need for travel between locations.
