Location:Kingston, KT1
Salary: £26,000 - £26,500
Contract Type: Full-time / Permanent
Hours: 8am to 5pm, office based

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Customer Service Advisor / Repairs Advisor to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for residents, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service, raising repairs, and ensuring smooth communication between residents, engineers, and the repairs team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for residents via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Handle general enquiriescomplaints, and service requests in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Efficiently raise repairs and maintenance jobs using internal systems.
  • Liaise closely with the repairs team, engineers, and contractors to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Keep residents informed and updated throughout the repairs process.
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions and repairs raised.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate teams.
  • Support the wider customer service team with administrative tasks and service improvements.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a customer service advisor or repairs advisor role, ideally within housing, property maintenance, or a similar environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident in using IT systems to raise repairs and log customer interactions.
  • A problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering excellent service.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of housing or property maintenance services.
  • Experience liaising with engineers and technical teams.
