What you will do:
- Conduct comprehensive, child-centred assessments and provide these insights in detailed reports to direct court decisions, ensuring the child's voice is present throughout.
- Identify safeguarding issues early on, working tightly with support agencies and conducting necessary risk assessments like DASH to safeguard vulnerable parties.
- Facilitate alternative dispute resolutions, encouraging families to engage in constructive mediation and negotiation to foster cooperation outside court settings.
- Coordinate cases efficiently, maintaining communication with parents, legal representatives, social workers, and court personnel to drive case progress smoothly.
- Deliver support and guidance to victims and vulnerable parties by linking them with necessary support services for their safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with judges, legal advisers, Cafcass, local authorities, and other key stakeholders, participating in gatekeeping sessions to define effective case directions.
- Regularly monitor cases, ensuring they adhere to court timelines and that interventions fittingly address family needs.
- Maintain the utmost professionalism and confidentiality with all sensitive information handled throughout your work.
