This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Supervising Social Worker to join our Fostering Team in the heart of Brixton. What you will do:
- Manage a caseload with care, ensuring each cases aligns with the high standards set by our fostering team.
- Lead the recruitment, assessment, approval, and ongoing support of skilled foster carers.
- Provide consistent supervision to foster carers, ensuring compliance with Fostering Regulations.
- Facilitate the continuous development of children within placements, employing thoughtful placement management, planning, and intervention.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to address children's development and care needs.
To be successful in this role, you should hold a Social Work qualification and be registered with Social Work England. An Enhanced DBS is required. Experience within Children's services and a firm grounding in foster care delivery is essential. You should be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of Fostering minimum Standards, Fostering Legislation, and safeguarding principles.
