What You Will Do:
- Conduct comprehensive and standardised occupational therapy assessments for patients within the stroke, respiratory, and cardiology specialisms, focusing on vital areas such as self-maintenance and leisure activities.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate tailored treatment plans aimed at boosting patient independence and overall well-being through evidence-based practices.
- Facilitate efficient and safe discharges by assessing and advising on home environments and equipment needs to support patient transition from hospital to home.
- Manage a complex and varied caseload independently, demonstrating the ability to prioritize tasks and efficiently delegate to therapy assistants where necessary.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration is essential.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a relevant specialism is required.
- A car driver is preferable for this role to navigate between care sites effectively, though not a strict requirement.
