What you will do:
- Provide psychological assessments and interventions for children and young people with special educational needs, alongside addressing emotional, behavioural, and social difficulties.
- Contribute to statutory Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments by delivering high-quality psychological advice in line with the SEND Code of Practice.
- Deliver consultation and advice to schools, parents/carers, and professionals to foster inclusive education and support pupil progress.
- Promote early intervention and preventative strategies through multi-agency collaboration and the graduated response approach.
- Support the emotional well-being and mental health of children and young people through evidence-based practices.
- Work systemically within schools and educational settings to enhance approaches to learning, behaviour, and well-being.
- Design and deliver training and development sessions for school staff, parents, and other key stakeholders.
- Maintain high standards of record-keeping, professional conduct, and compliance with HCPC requirements.
- Contribute to service development, research, and evaluation activities to ensure high-quality outcomes for children and families.
