Social Worker - Assessment and Child Protection Team in Swindon, earning £38.75 hourly, for a full-time locum role lasting 3 months. Join our dynamic Assessment and Child Protection Service, where you'll take a pivotal role in safeguarding children. The ACP team undertakes comprehensive assessments and investigations relating to child protection. To thrive here, recent and relevant experience in an Assessment and Child Protection Team is crucial. As an adept professional, you will perform statutory assessments, conduct home visits, consult with other practitioners, and analyse risk for any child or young person involved. After completing the assessment, you'll determine whether the case is closed or transferred to our Long Term Locality Teams. Importantly, you'll be required to attend the Swindon office for duty week for 1 full week out of every 4 weeks, and then 1-2 days in the other weeks.
