What you will do:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop formulations to inform treatment planning.
- Deliver individual and group psychological interventions tailored to patient needs.
- Provide supervision and training to junior staff and trainees, ensuring the continued growth of your team.
- Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives to continually enhance patient care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care pathways, fostering a holistic approach to mental health.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to audit and research activities that support service improvement.
- Support patients and their families through complex psychological difficulties, offering guidance and intervention with empathy and expertise.
Person Specification:
- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent qualification.
- HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist is essential.
- Experience working within adult mental health services, with a proven ability to navigate complex cases.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, showcasing adaptability and leadership.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support effective collaboration and patient interaction.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in clinical psychology.
