What You Will Do:

- Manage a caseload of prisoners with mental health needs, providing assessments, care planning, and interventions
- Offer a range of mental health interventions within a stepped care model, including liaising with primary care and substance misuse teams
- Act upon referrals from various teams within the prison and external agencies, developing care programs tailored to individual needs
- Maintain confidentiality, ensuring compliance with mental health and community care legislation
- Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team, providing advice and specialist mental health support
- Uphold and promote health and safety policies for the welfare of prisoners and staff alike
- Facilitate group work sessions and provide mental health support as needed
