What you will do:
- Provide specialist triage, assessment, and evidence-based interventions for children, young people, and their families at the point of referral into the service.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to conduct and coordinate complex CAMHS assessments.
- Manage the treatment delivery and care coordination for young people, regularly reviewing and adapting interventions as needed.
- Communicate effectively with young people, their families, and other professionals about assessment and treatment processes.
- Undertake proactive risk management and safety planning alongside the team.
- Support professional development within the team through supervision and fostering a positive learning environment.
- Engage in service evaluation, audits, and research to continually improve service delivery.
- Advocate for raising awareness and reducing the stigma of mental health issues amongst children and young people.
