What you will do:

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with children, young people, and their families through direct casework, supervision, shared activities, and counselling.
• Provide services that address primary needs, promote development, and assist with behavioural difficulties and vulnerabilities.
• Identify and assess risks of abuse, failure to protect, or harm to children, advising senior managers accordingly.
• Contribute to and engage in establishing best practices, taking the lead in specialised areas of responsibility.
• Respect diversity and experience, enabling families and carers to make informed decisions and express needs.
• Challenge discrimination and other forms of inequality to ensure justice and fairness.
• Maximise resources available to service users and carers, ensuring value for money care packages.
• Understand and respond to the changing social needs of the locality, informing current and future service provision.
• Communicate effectively across various settings, including case conferences and planning meetings, and provide evidence in court when necessary.
