A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Stoke-on-Trent is looking for enthusiastic and motivated graduates to join their team as Graduate Teaching Assistants from September 2025. This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for anyone eager to gain hands-on experience in education and make a real impact in the classroom.
While degrees in Psychology, Education Studies, Health and Social Care (or similar fields) are particularly relevant, we welcome applications from graduates across all academic backgrounds.

Full-time, long-term position starting September 2025

Earn up to £520 per week

Valuable school-based experience to support future teacher training applications

Work in a Stoke-on-Trent primary school with excellent local transport links
Your role will include:

Supporting class teachers with learning activities, small group sessions, and 1:1 interventions

Helping pupils develop their literacy, numeracy, and social skills

Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom organisation

Creating a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment

Working alongside experienced teachers and support staff to develop your own teaching skills

Gaining real insight into life as a teacher and how schools operate day-to-day
We’re looking for:

Graduates with a 2:1 or higher in any subject

Particularly keen to hear from those with degrees in Psychology, Education Studies, Health and Social Care or related subjects

A genuine passion for supporting primary-aged children and their development
-
Excellent communication skills, a professional attitude, and plenty of enthusiasm
-
Adaptable, patient, and proactive individuals
-
Experience working with children is beneficial, but not essential
