We are partnering with an inclusive and supportive school in Warwickshire to recruit a Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant focused on children with special educational needs (SEN). This is a full-time, long-term role ideal for a graduate eager to make a difference while developing knowledge of behaviour, learning, and emotional support within education.
Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant – Why You Should Apply:

Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing:
- Deliver 1:1 and small group support to children with additional needs
- Assist SENCO and class teachers with targeted interventions
- Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development
- Help build emotional regulation, resilience, and confidence
- Track progress and contribute to EHCP reviews
- Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Promote a calm, consistent, nurturing classroom environment
- Engage in training and reflective practice to grow professionally
Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:
- 2:1 degree or above in Psychology or related field
- Genuine interest in SEN, child development, and mental health
- Experience with young people (volunteering or work) is a plus but not essential
- Emotional intelligence, patience, and a calm, proactive approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Long-term commitment to education, psychology, or therapeutic work
