Graduate Computer Science Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting KS3 and KS4 pupils in Computer Science and ICT lessons
- Assisting with lesson planning, practical tasks, and classroom setup
- Providing 1:1 and small group academic support in coding, programming, and IT literacy
- Helping students develop problem-solving, logic, and digital confidence
- Promoting online safety and responsible tech use
- Collaborating with teaching staff to deliver engaging and accessible content
- Assisting with extracurricular activities such as coding clubs or STEM events
- Contributing to the school’s digital learning initiatives
Graduate Computer Science Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:
- A 2:1 degree or above in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related subject
- A genuine passion for education and digital technologies
- Prior experience working with young people (formal or informal) is a plus
- Strong technical and communication skills
- Enthusiastic, adaptable, and proactive approach
