Exciting Opportunity for a Reception Teacher – Join a ‘Good’ Ofsted-Rated Primary School in Essington this September!

The Role – Reception Teacher:

As a Reception Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering creative, high-quality lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework

• Supporting children’s personal, social, emotional, and academic development

• Observing and assessing pupil progress to inform next steps in learning

• Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff

• Maintaining a safe and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and curiosity

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching in Early Years or Reception preferred

• A deep understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development

• A warm, patient, and proactive approach to teaching

• Strong communication and classroom management skills
