Advanced Practitioner - Locality/Early Help Team looking for an exciting locum opportunity in the vibrant city of Durham?

We are seeking an Advanced Practitioner within Locality/Early Help to join our team, offering a competitive hourly rate of £34.45. This ongoing position is ideal for someone with full-time availability who is eager to make a real impact in the community. This role allows you to work across our five social work teams in the south, collaborating closely with our Early Help service and providing valuable support and consultation as we transition to the innovative Family Help model in line with social work reforms.

What you will do:

- Provide expert support and consultation across five social work teams in Durham’s southern region.
- Focus on developing and strengthening team links with our Early Help service.
- Contribute to the innovative move towards the new Family Help model, in alignment with social work reforms.
- Collaborate with colleagues to implement new ways of working that benefit the community.
- Handle case consultations and offer guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring high standards of practice are maintained.
