Deputy Service Manager
Position: Deputy Service Manager, Part-Time, 35 hours per week
Location: Sprowston Community Hub, Norfolk
Are you a driven and compassionate leader ready to make a real difference? We are looking for a dynamic Deputy Service Manager to support the delivery of exceptional services at our Sprowston Hub for adults with learning and physical disabilities. You’ll play a pivotal role in empowering both people we support and our dedicated teams to achieve the best outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Service Manager to deliver high-quality, person-centred services.
- Lead, coach and mentor Team Managers, ensuring excellence in service delivery and strong person-centred outcomes for our customers
- Be the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Champion, promoting inclusive, empowering support practices that encourage good wellbeing and outcomes for our customers
- Monitor and embed quality assurance strategies and customer outcomes, aiming for “Good” or better ratings in all audits and outcomes for customers
- Ensure safeguarding, compliance, and health and safety procedures are upheld across services
- Liaise with families, professionals, and external partners to review and evolve support plans
- Champion inclusion, independence, and community engagement for those we support
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within social or health care
- Experience mentoring and coaching others to achieve excellent outcomes
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and build positive relationships
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and Quality Assurance frameworks for care services
- Flexibility to work over a 7-day period and participate in an out-of-hours rota
- Health and Social Care Level 5 Diploma or equivalent (or willingness to work toward this)
