Job Title: Residential Childcare Worker
Location: West Glamorgan
Pay Rate: £15.95 per hour (Umbrella)
Additional: Sleep-in rate available if working nights
Contract Type: Ad-hoc shifts with potential for block bookings

Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking Residential Childcare Workers to work in children’s residential care settings across Glamorgan. These roles offer flexible ad-hoc shifts with the potential for block bookings at times.

As a Residential Childcare Worker, you will support children and young people within a residential environment, promoting positive behaviour, safeguarding their welfare, and assisting with daily routines. You will be working on behalf of various children’s homes to ensure consistent and high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide care and support to children and young people in residential settings

· Implement individual care plans to support development and wellbeing

· Engage in activities that foster personal and social growth

· Help manage challenging behaviors and provide emotional support

· Maintain accurate records in line with care regulations

· Work closely with residential staff to ensure safe and nurturing environments

Key Requirements:

· Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare (Children & Young People) or equivalent

· UK Experience working in a children’s residential care setting

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Resilient, empathetic, and committed to making a difference

· Availability for ad-hoc shifts, including nights (with sleep-in duties when required)

· Flexible approach to working patterns
