Grounds Maintenance Team Leader in Mold

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading landscaping business in their search for a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader to work in their leading facility in Mold.

For the successful Grounds Maintenance Team Leader our client is offering:

• £13.50 per hour
• Monday to Friday (Summer hours: 7:15am-5:00pm, Winter hours: 7:45am-4:30pm) Occasional Sat work required
• Temporary to Permanent Position
• Full PPE and uniform
• Annual bonus
• 1 day per week off in the winter season - paid 

The role Grounds Maintenance Team Leader:

• To lead, motivate and instruct teams on site in order to achieve and promote best practice.
• Ensure daily and weekly productivity targets are achieved within the set parameters.
• Ensure all operations are carried out in accordance with the company or client specifications and that quality standards are achieved.
• Liaise with site agents
• Ensure all employees are carrying out work in a safe and proper manner, ensuring the correct PPE is being worn in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and current legislation.
• Shrub and tree planting
• Turfing, Seeding, Fencing, Paving, Decking

What our client is looking for in a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader:

• Prior experience in a similar role- ESSENTIAL 
• Proficiency in operating landscaping machinery and hand tools.
• Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and blueprints.
• Use of construction equipment and tools for hard landscaping.
• Knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly landscaping practices.
• CSCS card preferred/ PA1&PA6 Spraying but not essential
