Our client is currently looking for experienced Wood Machinist of all levels.
Location: Thirsk area
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hourly Rate: £13.00 - £14.50 (depending on experience, negotiable)
Bonus: Monthly profit share scheme
Overtime: Available when required (paid at 1.5x rate)
About the Role:
Our client, a leading furniture manufacturer, is seeking skilled Wood Machinists to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced candidates to work in a supportive environment with opportunities for skill development and career progression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating woodworking machinery including cross-cut saws, rip saws, spindle moulders, band saws, sanders, and more.
- Producing high-quality hardwood, laminate, and veneer furniture for various markets.
- Following production standards and processes with precision. Training can be provided
- Maintaining a safe and efficient workspace.
- Willingness to learn and operate additional machinery as skills develop.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in woodworking or manufacturing.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate (£13.00 - £14.50, negotiable based on experience).

- Stable hours: Monday - Friday, 07:30 - 16:00 (37.5 hours per week).
