History ECT – What You’ll Be Doing:
- Delivering engaging and thought-provoking History lessons across KS3–KS5
- Encouraging critical thinking, historical inquiry, and debate in the classroom
- Inspiring curiosity about past events and their impact on the present
- Supporting students with a range of abilities through differentiated instruction
- Assessing student progress, giving constructive feedback, and refining your approach
- Creating an inclusive learning environment where all voices are valued
- Collaborating with colleagues to design and enhance the History curriculum
- Motivating students to consider future study or careers in History and related fields
History ECT – What We’re Looking For:
- A qualified teacher with QTS, or an ECT ready to start their teaching career
- A degree in History or a closely related subject
- A strong passion for teaching and inspiring young learners
- Excellent subject knowledge with the ability to deliver rich, engaging lessons
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A creative, reflective, and adaptable teaching style
- A team-oriented mindset and a commitment to ongoing professional development
