A welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Stoke is currently looking for a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team immediately or from September 2025. This is a brilliant opportunity to support pupils with additional needs, while developing the skills and experience to kickstart a rewarding career in education or SEN support.
Your Role Will Include:

Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language challenges

Assisting with classroom activities, ensuring all children feel included and supported

Helping pupils build confidence and key skills in literacy, numeracy, and communication
-
Creating a calm, positive learning environment that encourages growth and engagement

Collaborating with teachers and SENCOs to implement tailored learning strategies

What We’re Looking For:

A 2:1 degree (or above) in Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies, or a related subject

A genuine passion for supporting young children with additional learning needs

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles
-
Previous experience in a school or SEN setting is helpful, but not essential
