Teacher of Design & Technology – Candidate Specification

• Qualified teacher status preferred, but we will consider candidates with relevant experience for a cover position
• Unqualified Teachers will be paid – £21,000 to £28,000 
• Strong subject knowledge with particular emphasis on wood technology and design
• Experience in teaching Design & Technology at secondary level desirable
• A passion for hands-on learning and the ability to demonstrate practical skills in a safe and structured way

Teacher of Design & Technology – Job Specification

• Immediate start, fixed-term until the end of the academic year
• Teach Design & Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4, with a focus on wood technology and design-based content
• Plan and deliver engaging, hands-on projects, helping students develop key technical and creative skills
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Work collaboratively with the Design & Technology department
