Product Sales Advisor
Location: Newcastle-Under-Lyme
Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 16:30pm
Salary: Up to £29,000 per annum
The role:
We are recruiting for a Product Sales Advisor for our client based in Newcastle-Under-Lyme, on a full time permanent basis. Within this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and providing expert advice on products to customers. This role involves understanding customer needs to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. If you have a background in sales and strong negotiation skills, apply now!
Main duties:
- Working with a client portfolio spans both public and private sectors, including local government bodies, educational institutions, architects, and construction contractors
- Offering customers expert technical guidance and sales support through both phone and written correspondence
- Preparing and issuing detailed written quotations using the company's internal CRM platform as needed
- Following up to confirm customers have received quotes, both before and after they are sent
- Identifying and pursuing potential sales opportunities, and successfully bringing them tocompletion
- Reviewing all quotations thoroughly to maintain complete accuracy
- Using the internal system to update and finalize customer orders, keeping project notes current and tracking ongoing project developments when relevant
About you:
- Strong communication abilities, both written and spoken
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Proficient in reading and understanding technical drawings
- Comfortable reviewing bills of quantities and tender documentation with confidence
- Familiarity with tendering procedures and processes
- Highly organised with effective time management to meet deadlines efficiently
- Skilled in sales discussions and negotiation
- Advanced keyboard proficiency with hands-on experience using internal database systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Capable of delivering precise, accurate work independently with minimal oversight
- Approaches tasks with a proactive and positive mindset
