Your work will help keep people safe, empower our teams, and ensure we deliver outstanding services every day.What you’ll do: Maintain and update person-centered support plans in line with regulatory standards.Supporting Service Managers and their teams to ensure plans are accurate and reflect real-life needs.Champion the voice of people with learning disabilities and older people, ensuring their views are central to planning.Forging a strong working relationship with the company’s Quality Improvement Manager.Monitor compliance and quality indicators, helping us stay audit-ready and continuously improve.Support training and development around care planning best practices. What you’ll bring: A strong eye for detail and a love of well-organised systems.Confidence working with compliance frameworks and quality standards.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Good writing skills.A genuine commitment to inclusion and advocacy for people with learning disabilities.Experience in social care, health, education, or a related field is desirable. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Deputy Manager to support the Service Manager at our [Dereham and Attleborough Day Services] where we provide high-quality day opportunities for adults with learning disabilities and older people supporting them to develop new skills, build friendships, access their community, and enjoy meaningful activities that promote independence, wellbeing, and social inclusion. What You will Be Doing Working alongside the Service Manager in the day-to-day running of the services, ensuring compliance and high standards of care. Delivering exceptional person-centred support for customers. Assisting with the recruitment, management, motivation, and development of a high-performing care team. Supporting quality monitoring activities, completing audits, and contributing to continuous service improvements. Contributing to effective resource planning and occupancy levels within the services. Building strong relationships with customers, families, healthcare professionals, and local authorities. What We are Looking For Previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Team Manager, Senior Support Worker, or in a similar supervisory role within a health and social care setting. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards).
