Associate Dentist – Newport, Shropshire £14.00–£15.00 per UDA | 50% Private Split | 2 Days per Week | 2,000+ UDAs Flourish Medical is recruiting for an Associate Dentist to join an established NHS and private dental practice in Newport, Shropshire This is a permanent, part-time opportunity working 2 days per week – Tuesday and Wednesday, offering £14.00–£15.00 per UDA, 2,000+ UDAs and a 50% private split. You’ll be joining an established practice with an existing patient base, experienced clinical team and excellent opportunity to develop private dentistry alongside a consistent NHS workload. The practice provides a broad range of general, restorative and cosmetic dentistry, creating genuine scope for an Associate who would like to grow their private income. An immediate start is available. Please note: GDC registration, an active NHS Performer Number, previous UK dental experience and the right to work in the UK are essential. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. The incoming Associate will have 2,000+ UDAs available, providing a consistent NHS workload alongside the opportunity to develop private dentistry. The practice also provides a range of private and cosmetic treatments, including clear aligners, composite bonding, teeth whitening and smile enhancement treatments, giving an Associate with an interest in developing private dentistry genuine scope to grow this side of their role. This makes the position particularly suited to a Dentist looking for the security of an established NHS workload while still having the opportunity to increase their private income over time. What we’re looking for: • GDC registration as a Dentist • Active NHS Performer Number • Previous UK dental experience • Right to work in the UK without sponsorship • Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one • Experience providing NHS dentistry • Confidence providing general dental treatments • Excellent patient communication and relationship-building skills • Commitment to high standards of clinical care • Interest in developing private dentistry would be advantageous Your role: • Provide high-quality NHS and private dental treatments • Manage an established NHS patient list • Conduct examinations, diagnoses and treatment planning • Provide restorative dentistry including fillings, crowns and bridges • Carry out root canal treatment and routine extractions where appropriate • Provide preventative dentistry and promote long-term oral health • Develop private treatment opportunities where appropriate • Maintain accurate and compliant clinical records • Work collaboratively with Dental Nurses and the wider clinical team • Maintain high standards of GDC, CQC and clinical governance compliance Location The practice is based in Newport, Shropshire and is conveniently located for Dentists travelling from Telford, Stafford, Market Drayton, Shifnal, Wolverhampton, Bridgnorth and surrounding areas across Shropshire and the West Midlands.
