What You Will Do Provide strong leadership and oversight to the Assessment Team, ensuring high-quality, timely assessments for children and families. Oversee day-to-day service delivery, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practice standards. Manage complex safeguarding decisions and ensure robust safety planning and case management. Work collaboratively with key multi-agency partners including Education, Health, and Police. Skills & Experience Required Extensive post-qualifying experience within Children’s Social Care, particularly safeguarding and assessment. Demonstrable leadership or management experience within a social work setting. Strong risk analysis and decision-making skills under pressure. Excellent understanding of children’s legislation, guidance, and best practice. Ability to manage team performance, motivate staff, and implement service improvements. Effective partnership-building and multi-agency collaboration skills. Qualifications Social Work Degree or equivalent qualification. Social Work England registration.
