Skills & Experience Required Extensive post-qualifying experience within Children’s Social Care, particularly safeguarding and assessment. Demonstrable leadership or management experience within a social work setting. Strong risk analysis and decision-making skills under pressure. Excellent understanding of children’s legislation, guidance, and best practice. Ability to manage team performance, motivate staff, and implement service improvements. Effective partnership-building and multi-agency collaboration skills. Qualifications Social Work Degree or equivalent qualification. Social Work England registration.
