This is an excellent opportunity for highly skilled Advanced Social Workers, Senior Social Workers, or Children’s Social Care Practitioners to work within a supportive and structured safeguarding team.The role involves managing complex children and families cases from referral through to closure, including Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Care Proceedings. You will be responsible for completing high-quality assessments, contributing to court reports, and ensuring the best outcomes for children and families.Key Responsibilities: Undertake complex assessments of children and families where safeguarding concerns are identifiedManage cases from referral through to closure, including CIN, CP, and care proceedingsPrepare high-quality reports for court proceedings (public and private law)Work directly with children and families to assess risk and support safeguarding plansContribute to Child Protection conferences and multi-agency meetingsSupport and review Child in Need and Child Protection plansMaintain accurate, timely, and analytical case recordingsEnsure compliance with statutory guidance, safeguarding procedures, and local authority policiesParticipate in a four-week duty rota system (one week on duty, two weeks off duty)Respond to new referrals and urgent safeguarding cases during duty weeksWork across a large geographical area including both urban and rural communities Requirements: Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registrationSignificant post-qualifying experience in Children’s Social CareStrong experience in safeguarding, CIN, CP, and court workExperience managing complex caseloads independently from referral to closureStrong assessment, analytical, and report writing skillsExperience working within multi-agency safeguarding environmentsAbility to work under pressure and manage competing priorities Why Work with Seven Resourcing?At Seven Resourcing, we go beyond recruitment.
