What you will do: - Work in partnership with the Early Intervention & Family Support Service Manager and team to ensure effective communication and delivery of services. - Collaborate with staff to deliver a range of services to families, children, and young people. - Provide cover for absent colleagues to maintain seamless service delivery. - Manage an individual caseload, maintaining high standards of childcare practice. - Contribute to client care plans as appropriate. - Make timely and appropriate referrals to the Child Protection team in line with procedures. - Prepare and present reports for a variety of audiences including case conferences, core group meetings, court hearings, and care plan meetings. - Participate actively in referral meetings, reviews, case discussions, and other relevant professional meetings; organise, chair, and take minutes when required. - Ensure service users fully understand processes and procedures. - Complete and maintain family files and relevant paperwork to a high standard, adhering to departmental procedures. - Work in partnership with families, monitoring needs through accurate record-keeping, care planning, and case recording. - Collaborate effectively with other professionals involved in the care and support of families. - Demonstrate professional and sensitive approaches when dealing with parents and carers, serving as a positive role model. - Keep up to date with and implement relevant legislation and procedures related to service delivery. - Support the Early Intervention & Family Support Team in ensuring services comply with Ofsted minimum standards. - Promote and encourage diversity and a multicultural ethos throughout all aspects of the service. - Ensure health and safety procedures are followed within areas of responsibility, including lone working protocols. - Undertake any other duties as required by the post.
