Warehouse Operative in Telford, West Midlands

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading distribution company in their search for a Warehouse Operative to work in their facility in Telford

 For the successful Warehouse Operative our client is offering:

• £12.24 per hour for Days OR £13.46 per hour for afternoons 
• Monday-Friday 8AM-4:15PM, must be flexible to sometimes start at 6AM (All overtime is paid) OR Monday to Friday 2:00 PM to 10:15 PM
• Temporary to Permanent 
• Plenty of overtime available after 39 hours are worked (Time and a third in the week, Time and a half on Saturdays and Double time on Sundays!)
• Free parking - Our client is accessible via public transport

The role - Warehouse Operative:

• Working in the Despatch area, preparing of products to be dispatched
• Labelling of products
• Printing labels from the Computer
• Manual handling
• Lifting boxes within the Dispatch area
• Walking 20,000 - 25,000 steps per shift, pulling a Pump truck
• Picking

What our client is looking for in a Warehouse Operative:

• Previous experience in a similar role - ESSENTIAL
• Must be happy with heavy lifting 
• Confident with computers- ESSENTIAL 
• Experience using a warehouse management experience- ESSENTIAL 
• Must have picking and packing experience- ESSENTIAL
• Must have good numeracy skills- ESSENTIAL 
• Must be happy with working within a fast paced warehouse environment
