What you will do
- Lead and manage a team of social workers within the Looked After Children (CLA) service.
- Oversee complex caseloads involving children in care, with a strong focus on care planning, permanence, and pathway planning for care leavers.
- Provide high‑quality supervision and performance management to ensure compliance with statutory frameworks and best practice standards.
- Drive timely permanence planning, chair key meetings, and work collaboratively with partner agencies to deliver coordinated care.
- Contribute to service development, audits, and preparation for Ofsted inspections to maintain and enhance service quality.
