What you will do:
- Provide clinical bedside assistance for robotic surgeries within the department, reporting to the consultant surgeon.
- Conduct patient assessments and surgical preparation.
- Manage the clinical area effectively on a daily basis and plan ahead for optimal performance.
- Collaborate closely with operating surgeons as part of the surgical care team.
What you’ll bring:
- Qualified Surgical Care Practitioner with MSc, PG Cert, PG Dip in Surgical Care Practice.
- Robust experience in Robotics, Urology, or Gynaecology is essential.
- Registered healthcare professional (e.g., nurse or ODP) with a related honours degree.
- Recent theatre nursing experience with 2-3 years as a qualified Surgical Care Practitioner.
- Essential Log Book and a strong aptitude for clinical and operational practice.
- Ability to manage the clinical area proactively and strategically.
