Key Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with adults and children with physical and learning disabilities, applying your knowledge of occupational therapy to support their individual needs.

• Conduct thorough assessments and design personalised treatment and support plans aimed at promoting independence and quality of life.

• Carry out risk assessments within community settings to ensure safety and well-being.

• Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic, person-centred care.

• Provide on-site and home-based support, with driving preferred to enable community visits.

Requirements:

• Minimum of two years’ experience in occupational therapy, preferably within learning disabilities.

• Valid HCPC registration to practise as an Occupational Therapist Assistant.

• A driving licence is advantageous for travel between sites and community settings.
