What you will do:

Provide professional leadership and expert social work practice, making independent decisions in complex or high-risk situations.

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs, strengths, and risks for children and young people, creating clear and effective care plans using SMART objectives.

Work collaboratively with partner agencies and multi-disciplinary teams to develop effective multi-agency support plans that promote independence and wellbeing.

Contribute to the development of integrated services and policies, supporting innovative approaches aligned with national guidance and best practice standards.

Maintain and enhance your knowledge of social policy, legislation, and professional practice, ensuring compliance with organisational protocols and safeguarding requirements.
Essential qualifications and requirements:

A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree, Masters, Post Graduate Diploma, or Social Work fast-track qualifying programme).

Current registration with Social Work England.

A valid UK driving licence with the ability to travel across multiple locations when required.

Strong knowledge of child development, safeguarding legislation, and effective social work interventions.
Essential skills and experience:

Demonstrated experience in assessing needs and delivering effective social work interventions in partnership with children, young people, and families.

Ability to maintain high-quality case records, producing clear, concise, and child-centred reports and plans.

Proven skills in building strong relationships and rapport with children and families using a person-centred and strengths-based approach.

Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, enabling effective caseload management within demanding environments.
