What you will do:

Undertake safeguarding enquiries in line with Section 42 of the Care Act 2014

Complete holistic assessments of risk, need, and capacity
-
Develop, implement, and regularly review protection and support plans
-
Work with adults to promote choice, control, and least restrictive practice
-
Apply the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and lead best interest decision-making
-
Lead and contribute to multi-agency meetings and strategy discussions
Person Specification:
Qualifications:

Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work
Registration & Compliance:
-
Registered with Social Work England
-
Enhanced DBS
-
Right to Work in the UK
Key Skills:
-
Strong safeguarding and risk assessment skills
-
Sound knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005

Ability to make confident professional judgements
-
Excellent communication, analytical, and report-writing skills
-
Ability to work effectively within a multi-agency environment

Confident IT and case management skills
Experience:
-
Post-qualification experience as a Social Worker

Experience working in adult safeguarding and protection

Experience managing complex and high-risk cases
-
Proven experience of multi-agency working
