What you will do:

- Screen and review safeguarding referrals relating to children, families, and vulnerable adults.
- Conduct initial assessments to identify risks, harm, abuse, or neglect, ensuring the highest levels of care and protection.
- Gather and analyse detailed information from partner agencies such as police, health services, education, and housing to form a comprehensive understanding of each case.
- Apply safeguarding thresholds to determine the most appropriate responses or interventions for each situation.
- Engage in multi-agency discussions and strategy meetings to foster effective decision-making processes.
- Provide professional advice and guidance to partner agencies and referrers regarding any safeguarding concerns.
- Contribute to the creation and coordination of safeguarding plans, ensuring timely responses with relevant services.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and evidence-based case records within the local authority system, upholding standards of practice.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant UK legislation, policies, and safeguarding procedures.
- Work collaboratively to promote the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable individuals within a dynamic multi-agency environment.
