Social Worker - Children With Disabilities Team - Darwen, UK - £35 Hourly

We are on the hunt for a dynamic and enthusiastic Social Worker to join our Children's Disability Service based at Duke Street in Darwen. You'll be working in an engaging environment, alongside our experienced Social Workers and Child Support Officers, where you will support children and young people with severe and profound disabilities, as well as their siblings. This exciting locum position is ongoing and likely lasts for a rewarding nine-month period, offering both Full Time and Part Time opportunities. Step into a role that involves variety and impact, ranging across the continuum of CIN, CP, and LAC, including care proceedings and Court of Protection.

What you will do:

- Provide social work expertise and support to children with disabilities and their families.

- Contribute to care proceedings and attend court as necessary.
- Work closely with families to offer practical and emotional support, developing care plans tailored to each child's unique needs.
- Engage in regular supervision and training to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to child and disability services.
